Math Minds

The Math Minds team is a professional community dedicated to the effective teaching of K-12 mathematics, based at the University of Calgary, Werklund School of Education.

The interactives on this site were developed in support of Math Minds' new professional development course, which introduces educators to a coherent, theory-rich, evidence-based approach to teaching mathematics.

The Number Circle notation and design used in these interactives was created by Dr. Dan Finkel at Math for Love, specifically from his award-winning game Prime Climb. With Dan's kind permission, we have developed the interactives you see here.
